Modeling of Subjective Satisfaction Assessments in Socio-economic Researches
The article purpose is to estimate the impact of social support measures on the life satisfaction assessment. The ordered logit model was estimated on the data of the Households Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey — Higher School of Economics (RLMS-HSE) for 2021. The dependent variable is the life satisfaction assessment, and the predictors are the socio-demographic characteristics of individuals and their households, as well as the fact of receiving social assistance from the state services, individuals and private organizations. The conclusion about the importance of social transfers in increasing the life satisfaction assessment is substantiated. The results obtained can be used in adjusting the state socio-economic policy, taking into account the impact of social support measures on the level of the population well-being.

Impact of International Monetary Fund Support on GDP Growth
The main purpose of this work is to evaluate the effect of the financial support of the International Monetary Fund. The main focus of the IMF is aimed at supporting the stability of the global financial system and fighting poverty. However, the effectiveness of the IMF’s policies and actions has often been questioned. As part of our work, using the difference-in-differences method, we assessed one of the aspects of the IMF’s impact — its impact on the GDP growth rates of countries that received financial support. For this, four models were built, and two approaches to data analysis were applied: individual and general. As a result, it was concluded that, on average, IMF financial support accelerates GDP growth rates by about 2.1−2.7 percentage points. Thus, participation in IMF loan programs may be appropriate for developing countries wishing not only to support, but also to strengthen the process of economic development.

Assessment of Relational Capital Influence on Company’s Organizational Performance
Intangible assets are increasingly viewed as a company’s strategic resource. Although intellectual capital has been studied well recently, its relational capital component has not received such attention. Previous studies showed weak results of relational capital influence in the context of developing countries as well. Considering socio-historical circumstances Russia represents an interesting environment for investigating relational capital work. Thus, the aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between relational capital and Russian companies' organizational performance. The secondary data on 76 Russian retail companies were analyzed. Findings demonstrates the positive influence of a firm’s relationship with customers and employees on its organizational performance. These findings provide guidelines for managers to use relational capital while marketing strategy development. Also, the study confirmed the assumption on private labels' influence on company performance. This might encourage managers to introduce such programs if it’s not used yet. And also increase the proportion of private label products on store shelves, if the company already possesses some. This study makes several contributions in understanding relational capital work in the context of emerging markets. Previous studies showed a weak relational capital impact on a company’s organizational performance in the Russian context. Literature does not reach a consensus on relational capital influence. However, this study is based on the assumption on the intellectual capital variation across the industries. The result slightly confirmed this suggestion and opened up new opportunities for research. Moreover, the retail industry being a young sector of the Russian economy was understudied as well. The current paper sheds light on the intangible assets works in the retail industry of emerging markets.

Institutional Approach to the Concept of «Housing Affordability»: Introduction to International Discussion
The concept of «affordable housing» has been known since the early 50s. Today, «affordability» as an opportunity for a household to buy an apartment of a certain size within a certain period of time has become one of the everyday terms used by both journalists and politicians. However, the state-governed methods of achieving «affordability» in the Russian Federation are debatable. For example, in 2020−2022 subsidized mortgage rates had led to a further increase in prices and a decrease in affordability instead of increasing it.
In the article below we will discuss the approaches used to estimate affordability of housing. This article provides an overview of concepts and approaches to assessing housing affordability; it shows why certain concepts are chosen for evaluation and why several indexes are sometimes used simultaneously, which evaluate the achievement of various aspects of the proposed housing policy.

Technical Efficiency of Russian Generation Companies of the Wholesale Electricity Market
This paper discusses the issue of efficiency estimation of Russian electric power industry (in particular, the sector of wholesale generation). The main goal is to measure the efficiency for generating companies of the wholesale electricity market (OGK). Using the methodology of data envelopment analysis (DEA), two models for measuring efficiency were developed. The analysis of the models showed that, despite the power sector reform in Russia, from 2008 to 2020, in general, the efficiency tends to decline. However, within the framework of this study, it is impossible to unambiguously identify the factors that led to this result.

History of Written (Correspondence) Teaching of Accounting (Late XIX — Beginning XX Centuries)
The article presents a critical analysis of the experience of written (distance) education in accounting in Russia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The research conducted by the author touches on several aspects. She considers written instruction as part of self-education, as a special teaching method, in the context of the development of the postal system and from the financial side. Much attention is given to the discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning and the distinction between concepts such as school teaching, literature study, self-instruction and distance learning. The first attempts to regulate written instruction in accounting and the issuing of diplomas and certificates are reflected upon.

Comparative Analysis of Tools for Measuring the Structure of the System of Assessment Criteria on the Example of Intermediate Certification of Students
The paper proposes a model for numerical analysis of the parameters of the structure of a multicriteria estimation system in comparison with the simplest methods of econometric analysis. A brief description of the proposed model is given. Examples of the application of the method are considered on the example of the formation of elements of a student’s attestation assessment.
The model has a practical implementation, some of the results of which are given on the example of a real academic group of students. The results can be useful for teachers in their practical activities, which do not necessarily coincide with the subject area used in the example, for researchers studying methods for evaluating complex economic objects and processes. The example is freely available and can be used to improve and adapt it for other purposes of interest to the reader.
