Finance and Business welcomes visitors to our site!<\/span><\/p>\n

Finance and Business is a scholarly journal that publishes scientific research on all aspects of economics at the macro- and micro-levels. The target audience is both scholars and practitioners in the field. We have uniquely broad scope that includes such topics as development of financial markets and banking systems, tax law, accountancy and audit, financial management, as well as modern aspects of economic theory, both in Russia and internationally.<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to our focus on market development, we have a particular interest in the origins of Russian economic thought, especially in Finance and Accounting. We strive to provide our readers with access to novel and original articles on the topic and to unknown works by leading scientists in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The members of the Editorial Board are leading scientists in Economics and Finance, members of the Russian Academy of Sciences and faculty members at Russian and international universities. They are a key factor in the success of the journal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has included the journal in the list of publication outlets that are considered toward qualification for degrees of Candidate and Doctor in Economic Sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n

We always aim to broaden our readership and to increase the number of qualified submitting authors, including our foreign colleagues. This will allow to further facilitate dialogue between science, education, and practice, between financial and non-financial sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

HISTORY OF THE JOURNAL CREATION<\/p>\n

Finance and Business<\/span><\/i> journal was created in 2005 to fill the gap in scientific journals focusing on financial and economic issues. The idea of creating a serious periodical journal originated from the management of the Moscow-based publishing house “Prospekt”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leading economists of our country have teamed up around the journal. The creators of the journal aimed at contributing to the development of a market economy, strengthening of the banking sector and credit policies, the improvement of accounting and tax legislation.<\/span><\/p>\n
